Lunar eclipse phases, sequential images.
A time-lapse sequence of a total lunar eclipse. The image shows the progression of the Moon through the Earth's shadow, from the beginning of the eclipse (Moon completely outside the Earth's shadow) to the peak of totality (Moon completely within the Earth's shadow, appearing reddish-orange) and back out again. No specific person is identifiable in the image, but an observer captured the event.
