Golden Egyptian funerary mask.
This is the golden funerary mask of Tutankhamun. It was discovered in 1925 by Howard Carter in Tutankhamun's tomb in the Valley of the Kings, Egypt. The mask, crafted from gold and inlaid with semi-precious stones, was placed over the pharaoh's face to protect him in the afterlife.
